• One of the original eight Wild & Scenic Rivers; 
• Some fun but not death-defying whitewater;  
• A chance to talk about the Ledyard centennial, looking back (including readings on John Ledyard himself)  and looking ahead (including a couple of commitments to attend the April 2020 event — and racing at Mascoma — including Dirk Davidson who won the Master’s world championships in K-1 slalom); 
• And of course the photo with the requisite Ledyard flag….100 trips for 100 years….!
